7 Week Update
Total weight gain/loss: Some days I'm up 2 or 3 lbs. I feel like I've gained 10 tho. Soo bloated.
Sleep: Loving it. Napping about 2 hours a day.
Movement: too early for that
Symptoms: sore bbs, nauseous most mornings until about noon.
Food cravings: bagels=)
Food aversions: meat
Gender: No idea - probably another sweet boy
What I miss: I'm going to a concert Sunday so I know I'll be missing an ice cold beer!
What I am looking forward to: July is pretty packed - happy that it'll make the time pass by quickly
Milestone: Hands and feet are emerging from baby's arms and legs this week!
I made a mistake last week. Baby is actually the size of a blueberry this week. It was the size of a small pea last week. Currently about 0.5 inches.

Finally...
“You were made perfectly to be loved - and surely I have loved you, in the idea of you, my whole life long.” - Elizabeth Barrett Browning
How far along? 6 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: None yet thank goodness but I'm super bloated
Sleep: Sleeping very soundly and as much as I can! The vivid pregnancy dreams/ nightmares are back though.
Movement: too early for that
Symptoms: cramping, sore bbs, exhausted, bloated
Food cravings: sweets and lots of ice cold water
Food aversions: n/a
Gender: No idea
What I miss: coffee.... oh sweet coffee
What I am looking forward to: First appt on July 25 - hoping and praying that everything is ok
Weekly Wisdom: Try not to stress and enjoy every minute of baby Jude!
Milestone: Baby is the size of a blueberry. That's pretty cool because it was the size of a sesame seed just 2 weeks ago.
I'll take a belly pic once there's more to show than bloat.

Catching Up On Jude
Here are some of my favorite pictures...

Monday, June 28, 2010

Mother, oh Mother, come shake out your cloth
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
Hang out the washing and butter the bread,
Sew on a button and make up a bed.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.
Oh, I've grown shiftless as Little Boy Blue
(lullaby, rock-a-bye, Lullaby loo).
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
(pat-a-cake, darling, and peek-peek-a-boo).
The shopping is not done and there's nothing for stew
And out in the yard there is a hullabaloo.
But I'm playing "Kanga" and this is my "Roo."
Look! Aren't his eyes the most wonderful hue?
(lullaby, rock-a-bye, lullaby loo).
The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.
